Went through the divorce as a main breadwinner (threats for spouse support, etc). Most helpful coping tools: martial arts class, talking to my older coworkers who had similar experience, books and forums, changing the lifestyle to a healthier one (regular workouts, proper nutrition, meditation). Gave therapy a try for about 6 months- never done it before, it was ok. Maybe I had different expectations, maybe should’ve done more research on the provider. (“Maybe you should talk to someone” is a great book to get oriented on what therapy is). Worth giving it a try if you have time and resources! Best of luck on this journey, it only gets better from here
