Melanie’s Story

Posted on October 15, 2020January 12, 2021 by Melanie Fisher

*Trigger Warning for Suicide*

I started therapy when during the summer between my 8th and 9th grade. I had attempted suicide that school year, but failed. After that I saw that there were people that did care for me, and to rid myself of the self harm and suicidal thoughts, I started going to therapy. My experience with it was nothing but helpful, and now I’m living my best life, with friends and family by my side. I encourage anyone to learn from my lesson, if you have these thoughts, I highly recommend you seek therapy, there will always be people that care about you, and would crumble beyond repair if you took your life. I would have gone to therapy 10/10 times over, just to be where I am in life now.
