Amanda Geller’s Story

Posted on November 13, 2020January 12, 2021 by Amanda Geller

I’m not a diagnosed Schizoid I just meet most the criteria on the list and the therapist has told me several times I’m a certified loner. Basically therapy made me more confident to be myself. Loner personality and all. The sessions helped me accept the way I am and develop my life to fit my personality. Also the acceptance thing helped in developing practical strategies with social and societal obligations and norms. After my experience I would recommend it to anyone who considers themselves to be Schizoid. Not to fix anything but to make them more comfortable in their own skin. Just my two cents.
