I know that this doesn’t work in every situation but it has helped me.
I’ve found that changing your mindset helps to be more positive. For example:

“I can’t do this” —> “I’m still learning “.

“I have failed” —> “I can still improve”.

“I should just quit” —> “I should ask for help and guidance”.

“I give up” —> “I’ll try something different”.

“I failed” —> “Mistakes help me learn”.

“I’ll never be smart” —> “I’ll learn how to do this”.

“I’m no good at this” —> “What am I missing?”

“This is too hard” —> “This may take some time”

“I can’t do this” —> “I don’t know how to do this yet, but I will figure it out”.
